Dr. Bonino is a native of the Kansas City area. He is a graduate of Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University before pursuing his medical degree. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency and subspecialty fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He previously served as Chief Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Hospital. Dr. Bonino is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Bonino has a broad interest in all areas of gastroenterology, including colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and the evaluation and management of diseases of the liver. He enjoys spending time with his family in his free time.
