Farid Namin MDDr. Kanakadandi completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals in New York City. He then moved to Kansas City, where he completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Therapeutic Endoscopy. Dr. Kanakadandi worked as faculty at the University of Kansas Hospital for two years before joining Jackson County Gastroenterology in 2018.

In addition to treating common GI conditions, Dr. Kanakadandi has expertise in pancreatic and biliary disorders and has performed several cutting-edge procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound, cystogastrostomy and endoscopic suturing. He has also authored several peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
